Yesterday was perfect for learning to kitesurf down at SandyAcres, Gwithian in Cornwall.
Sunny, windy, warm water and an empty golden beach. One lucky budding kitesurfer had it all to herself and after 3 hours was almost up and riding on the board. Just shows waht top instruction and amazing conditions can do. Won't be long before she is joining the others who were out riding, around 5 kitesurfers near us and I counted 22 down riding at the Bluff on Hayle rivermouth.
Looking good for more kitesurf lessons at Marazion and Gwithian in Cornwall early next week and we currently still have some space, so dont delay, put some adventure in your life with West Cornwalls only British Kitesurfing Association rec!!!!

Great conditions today for Kite Surfing at Marazion. The sun came out and it was actually warm, windy and quiet on the beach apart from around 15 kiteers and 10 windsurfers enjoying the fablulous weather conditions in front of St. Michales Mount.
Wind looks good all week and sunny for most of it so get out there and enjoy it.

The forecast is looking great for the Pasty Cup this weekend 18-19th June sponsored by Skinners brewery (Truro) and organised by Pasty Adventures.
Based at Long Rock which is 1 mile west of Marazion we will be racing over towards Penzance.
There will now be 2 fleets for course racing, Pros who are racing for cash prizes on a full upwind downwind course and Ams who will be riding on a smaller course which will be Surfboard friendly for anyone who thinks they're fast and can win the great product prizes!
After the morning course racing there will be a long distance race open to all members of the BKSA, you need to bring and hand in your BKSA membership card.
Registration is 9-930 for course racing and 2-230 for long distance at the silver North tent on Long Rock beach.
Bring your won food BBQ after with loads of beer for all racers, thanks to Skinners!

We are pleased to announce we are now a British Kite Surf Association recognised school and the only one in West Cornwall running kitesurfing lessons at Marazion and Gwithian. All BKSA kitesurf courses are run by senior instructor and World Tour rider, Lee Harvey. We offer the full BKSA range of kite courses as well as intermediate and advanced personal instruction. Lee also specialises in strapless wave riding and course racing.
Pasty Adventures will be putting on several kitesurf clinics throughout the year or at any time if you have a group who want to learn a specific area of kitesurfing.
