Footwork Demo

Easter Sunday saw 4 kitesurfers come to Marazion for the Spring Wave Clinic with BKSA Coach Lee Pasty Harvey. Despite the severely cold ese wind and smallish waves, everyone had a great time riding strapless and learnt lots to be getting on with during the coming months. We started off with some wave theroy in the warmth of Jordans Cafe, before moving onto the water and looked at footwork, gybes, getting over waves and wave riding.
The next clinic we have coming up is the Intro to Waves clinic at Gwithian or Marazion, weather depending. All the info on the clinic page. Next Wave clinic is tbc, please contact to register your interest.
Thanks to Mel from Splashography for taking the pics, you can see more on his facebook page here

Achill Island
We were in Ireland for the KSP World Tour Aer Lingus Pro at the end of October based at Achill Island on the West Coast and hosted by Pure Magic.
Unfortunately we got skunked with wind and waves meaning there was no final result. After 2 no results this year in Portugal and now Ireland and with no prize money on offer for the Maui event, this signals the end of Lee's World Tour campaign for 2012 with him currently lying in =13th on the IKA rankings.
Over the winter Lee has some exciting video projects planned. Like his athlete page on Facebook to keep up to date with whats going on in Pastys World by clicking here
Despite the lack of wind and waves for the comp, we still found a couple of gems and had a lot of fun!
Thanks to Joe Cockle www.jnpevents.co.uk for the pics

With this crazy cold weather, we are now closed for beginner lessons until march next year.
We are however still open for more advanced coaching when the conditions are right!
Coming up in february we are running a Wave Adventure on the island of Sal, Cape Verde.
This is going to be epic and one not to be missed!
Check out the holiday section on this site for more info and stay tuned for more exciting adventures abroad in 2011.
