Our Learn to Kitesurf Courses run with a max of 2 students to 1 BKSA Instructor ensuring you get the best quality instruction & value for money to start your kitesurfing career.
Kitesurfing Courses run at Gwithian or Marazion and move according to wind & tide conditions.

Kitesurf Taster Session- £50pp
max 4 people, minimum of 2 needed to run
Never flown a powerful kite before and want to know if Kitesurfing is the sport for you?
Starting off with Trainer kites on the land you will learn the basics of kite flying.
You will then move onto a full size inflatable kite and feel the huge amount of power in the safety of the sea.
Duration- 2 hours (2 pax)- 3 Hours (4 pax)
Perfect as a gift or to do with family & friends!

BKSA Level 1 Beginner Course - £120
This is your introduction to the fastest growing watersport of the 21st century!
If you have little or no kite flying experience but do have plenty of enthuiasam, then this course is for you.
Starting off on land with a trainer kite you will soon move into the water with an inflatable kitesurfing kite to practise controling the power and water relaunching, gaining valuable skills before moving onto Level 2 .

BKSA Level 2 Progression course - £120
The Level 2 course builds on the knowledge learnt on Level 1 and focuses on you getting up kitesurfing on the board.
This is where it gets entertaining!

1:1 Instruction - £140 per level
Guarantee 1 to 1 Instruction with your own personal BKSA Instructor.
1 :1 instruction is more intense but guarantees you have the instructors full attention and can learn at your own speed.
3 & 1/2 Hours per level.

Learn to Kitesurf course - 1:1 instruction - £220
If you are really keen to start Kitesurfing, you can combine the BKSA level 1 and BKSA level 2 courses into 2 consecutive half days (recommended) or in some instances, 1 full 6 hour day.
Booking this full course saves you £60
We advise you to have some previous experience of flying a Powerkite to get the most from this course although it's not necessary if you are a fast learner!

Learn with a Friend - £200 max 2 people
If you want to learn with a friend we can run the BKSA Level 1 or 2 courses following the same syllabus but saving you money as you book together.
Learning with a friend makes it great fun and means you will have someone to continue your kitesurfing career with after you leave.

At the end of your lesson you will be awarded your BKSA Kiteboarder card indicating which level you have reached and areas for you to work on in future.
Everyone booking on a Level 2 Course will receive The Kitesurfing Book for free!

As a BKSA Coach & Senior Instructor as well as a Pro Rider, this is one of Lee's areas of expertise.
We can run private coaching sessions on everything from Twin Tip riding & Freestyle, to Strapless, Waves & Racing.

Supervised Hire
Although we are not allowed to hire kit out due to insurance reasons we are able to offer supervised hire.

All equipment provided
Kites & Boards by North Kiteboarding. Wetsuits by Ion & West.
You will also be provided with a helmet, harness & buoyancy aid for your safety.
All you need to bring is a towel & a warm set of clothes for afterwards. If you have your own wetsuit, wetsuit boots or an old pair of trainers, we advise you to bring these to add to your comfort, as well as some drinking water & sunscreen.
Courses are suitable for anyone aged between 8 & 80 as long as you can swim and are fit and able!
Unlike some schools, if the wind is not suitable we will reschedule rather than wasting your time and money!
Kitesurf courses require windspeeds between 10 and 25 mph to run.
Under 18s must be accompanied on the beach by a parent or guardian
