Kitesurf Taster Session- £50pp
max 4 people, minimum of 2 needed to run
Never flown a powerful kite before and want to know if Kitesurfing is the sport for you?
Then this is the course to go for first!
Starting off with Trainer kites on the land you will learn the basics of kite flying and safety before moving onto a full size inflatable kite and feeling the huge amount of power in the safety of the sea.
Duration- 2.5 Hours
Perfect as a gift or to do with family & friends!

BKSA Level 1 Beginner Course - 1 on 1 - £120
We recommend 1 on 1 instruction as it is by far the best and fastest way to learn!
This is your introduction to the fastest growing sport of the 21st century!
If you have little or no kite flying experience but do have plenty of enthuiasiam, then this course is for you.
Starting off learning all about kite flying on land with a Trainer kite, you will quickly progress onto an inflatable Kitesurf kite (LEI) and into the water were you will learn how to-
launch, land, water relaunch, body drag, fly downwind, across the wind and most importantly all the safety aspects involved with flying a big powerful kite.
If you are a fast learner, you may even get to have your first try at getting up on the board!
All whilst under direct guidance from your instructor
3.5 Hours duration. You will leave exhausted but eager for more.
At the end of a level 1 course you will know all about kitesurfing and how to do the basics safely including a full kite packdown and self rescue techniques and receive your BKSA Level 1 kiteboarder card..
You will have enough knowledge to be able to safely practise what you have learnt with your own equipment.
However to make the most out of your learning experience, we recommend completing a BKSA level 2 course and progressing onto properly riding on the board before buying the full Kitesurf set up!

BKSA Level 2 Progression course- 1 on 1 - £120
The Level 2 course builds on the knowledge learnt on Level 1. This is where it gets entertaining!
You will learn all about the board including how to drag upwind to get it back!
Board starts and progressing onto riding across the wind. We also pay particular attention to safety, including wind effects, tide and weather systems, riding with others and rules of the road.
Duration- 3 hours of intense action
To enrol on a L2 course you must have already reached Level 1 standard at a BKSA or equivalent school and be able to- carry out a full site assesment, set up a LEI Kite, launch/land, Body Drag out and back to the same spot and water relaunch.
You will cover all 4 parts required for BKSA Level 2. However we cannot guarantee you will pass them all and your BKSA Level 2 card will show the elements you have completed sucessfully.
At the end of the Level 2 course, you will have the knowledge and experience to continue your kitesurfing career on your own with your own equipment.

Learn to Kitesurf course- 1 on 1 - £220
If you are really keen to start Kitesurfing, you can combine the BKSA level 1 and BKSA level 2 courses into 2 consecutive half days (recommended) or in some instances, 1 full 6 hour day.
Booking this course saves you £20
We advise you to have some previous experience of flying a Powerkite to get the most from this course.

If you want to learn with a friend we can run the BKSA Level 1 or 2 courses following the same syllabus but spread over 4 hours per level.
Learning with a friend can make it great fun and means you will have someone to continue your kitesurfing career with after you leave.

Kites & Boards by North Kiteboarding. Wetsuits by West/ION.
You will also be provided with a helmet, harness & buoyancy aid for your safety.
All you need to bring is a towel & a warm set of clothes for afterwards. If you have your own wetsuit, wetsuit boots or an old pair of trainers, we do advise you to bring these to add to your comfort, as well as some drinking water & sunscreen.
Courses are suitable for anyone aged between 8 & 80 as long as you can swim and are fit and able!
Unlike some schools, if the wind is not suitable we will reschedule, rather than wasting your time and money!
Kite courses need winds between 10 and 30 mph to run.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

2 Day Beginner Wave- 1 on 1 with Lee- £200

Lee specialises in kitesurfing in waves and if you are an experienced surfer looking to ride waves with a kite. This is the course for you.
An intensely structured course covering all the aspects of the Level 1 & 2 Kitesurf courses but on a surfboard!
Lee will teach you quickly how to fly the kite and progress onto riding a surfboard, which should come naturally. You will learn all aspects of kite safety and etiquette in the waves, as well as different types of equipment used.
During this course we will be in rough seas so it really is, only for experienced surfers.

This is one of Lee's areas of expertise. Whatever you want to learn, upwind riding , Back loops, kiteloops, surfboard technique and as far as you want to go on the Twin Tip or Surfboard.
