Beginner Kitesurfing Lessons
BKSA Level 1 Kitesurf Beginner Course - £120 per person max of 2:1
Starting off learning all about kite flying on land with a Trainer kite, you will quickly progress onto setting up an inflatable Kitesurfing kite (LEI) and into the water were you will learn how to-
launch, land, water relaunch, body drag, fly downwind, across the wind and most importantly all the safety aspects involved with flying a big powerful kite.
Duration will be 3 Hours if 1:1 instruction. 4 Hours if 2:1 instruction plus debrief.
You will leave exhausted but eager for more.
At the end of a level 1 course you will know all about kitesurfing and how to do the basics safely including a full kite packdown and self rescue techniques and receive your BKSA Level 1 kiteboarder card.
You will have enough knowledge to be able to safely practise what you have learnt with your own equipment.
However to make the most out of your learning experience, we recommend completing a BKSA level 2 course and progressing onto properly riding on the board before buying the full Kitesurf set up!

BKSA Level 2 Kitesurf Progression Course - £120 per person max 2:1
Building on your kitesurfing skills learnt on the level 1 kitesurfing course, the Level 2 is all about getting you up on the board and becoming an independent kitesurfer.
Starting off with 1 handed kite flying exercises, you will learn how to body drag upwind, essential for retrieving your board before the fun really starts with Board starts and progressing onto riding across the wind.
We also pay particular attention to safety, including wind effects, tide and weather systems, riding with others and rules of the road.
Duration- 3 hours (1:1) or 4 hours (2:1) of intense action plus theory and debrief.
To enrol on a L2 course you must have already reached Level 1 standard at a BKSA or equivalent school and be able to- carry out a full site assesment, set up a LEI Kite, launch/land, Body Drag out and back to the same spot and water relaunch.
You will cover all 4 parts required for BKSA Level 2. However we cannot guarantee you will pass them all and your BKSA Level 2 card will show the elements you have completed sucessfully.
At the end of the Level 2 course, you will have the knowledge and experience to continue your kitesurfing career on your own with your own equipment. For some people we recommend having a couple of extra hours instruction. This will be outlined in you personal action plan.

At the end of every lesson, pupils will be given a Personal Action Plan along with your Kiteboarder Card, detailing all the areas covered plus any areas to work on in the future, along with recommended equipment if you wish to buy your own kitesurfing gear after leaving us.

BKSA Learn to Kitesurf Course Level 1 & 2 - £220pp
Structure as above covering Levels 1 & 2 but spread over 2 days saving you £20 when booked this way.

Guarantee 1:1 instruction on either the BKSA Level 1 or 2 Course. 1:1 Instruction means you get the most out of your lesson time. However it is fairly intense but it means you can progress at your own speed with no one else holding you back!
Learn with a friend - £200 per level. max 2 persons
Learning with a friend is a great way to start kitesurfing as it gives you someone to continue your kitesurfing career with after you leave us.
You will follow the same Course structure as above for BKSA Level 1 or 2 kitesurf courses.

All you need to bring is a towel & a warm set of clothes for afterwards. If you have your own wetsuit, wetsuit boots or an old pair of trainers, we advise you to bring these to add to your comfort, as well as some drinking water & sunscreen.
Courses are suitable for anyone aged between 8 & 80 as long as you can swim and are fit and able!
Unlike some schools, if the wind is not suitable we will reschedule rather than wasting your time and money!
Kite courses need winds between 10 and 25 mph to run. You will be contacted the day before to confirm exact time & location for your lesson.
Under 18s must be accompanied to the beach by a parent or guardian
