Kitesurf Wave Adventure- Cape Verde 2012

We will be staying at the Hotel Club Riu in Santa Maria, Sal.
The hotel is 5 star, all inclusive and is situated a short walk from the World Famous, Ponta Preta.
Your kitesurfing must be at intermediate level (able to ride upwind, basic jumps etc) or above and you should be confident swimming in at least waist high waves. You do not need to have ridden a surfboard before altough it will be beneficial to have some directioanl experience.
This is peak wave/wind period for Cape Verde so we can expect great conditions!
Details
The aim of the trip is to improve your wave riding technique in a variety of conditions, from cross off reef breaks to cross on beaches, at various spots around the island. Building your skills to confidently rip apart a pumping Ponta Preta, as well as the quieter, lesser known world class breaks!
Using video coaching and demonstrations, you will be able to analyse your progress at all times and take your waveriding to the next level.
Areas covered will include- Bottom/Top Turns, Linking Turns, Wave selection, Tacking & Gybing, Strapless riding & jumps, Kite control & anything else you may want to cover.
Max 6 people per week to ensure you receive as much 1 on 1 coaching as possible.
Lee has spent numerous weeks on Sal and has a good knowledge of all the spots and the conditions they work in. Once you express an interest, you will be sent a full coaching itinerary, detailing a rough guide to each day’s activity and location.

£1000 per person -Book by 1st Dec for £100 off
All inclusive at Club Hotel Riu Funana/Garopa, sharing in twin rooms.
Flights are from Gatwick leaving 10.45 and arriving in Sal 15.55 just in time to get a session in!
Returning 16.55, landing 23.35 so we will be able to ride on departure day.
Flights are with Thomson.

Small contribution to taxi/travel costs each day.
