 Easter Sunday Intro to Wave clinic What a great Easter and start to the kitesurfing season here in Cornwall. Sunshine and wind made for great conditions for three days over the holiday period, all be it a little chilly at times. We ran two full beginner kitesurf courses with all four people doing amazing well and getting up riding on the board. On Easter Sunday BKSA Wave Coach, Lee 'Pasty' Harvey ran a Intro to Wave Clinic which saw novice surfboard riders learning lots to be getting on and practicing over the coming months in preperation for the autumn wave season. A big well done to everyone involved in fairly cold challenging conditons. Overall a great weekend and we are really happy with all our new kit for the 2014 season especially the new North Evo which we are using for beginner lessons and winter wetsuits from O'Neill which kept all our students nice and warm. With good winds forecast all week and the water much warmer than last year it looks like we are going to have a great summer for Kitesurfing in Cornwall and with Pasty Adventures being the only British Kitesports recognised school in West Cornwall there's no better place to learn. Kitesurfing at Marazion
From the 11th April 2014 Pasty Adventures will be open for Kitesurf lessons at Gwithian and Marazion. As West Cornwall's only British Kitesports recognised school we pride ourselves on giving the best quality instruction and have just taken delivery of brand new North Kiteboarding kites and boards as well as wetsuits from O'Neill to ensure all students have the best possible equipment to start their kitesurfing career.  Pasty Adventures are pleased to announce that along with North Kiteboarding UK we will be supporting the Junior National Watersports Festival being held at Stithians Lake, Cornwall on the 3rd - 4th May 2014.
Following the success of the National Watersports Festival held at Hayling Island in 2013, this is the first event of its kind aimed solely at 8-16 year olds giving them chance to not only meet the Country's top pros but also have a go at Kayaking, Kitesurfing, Sailing, Stand up Paddle Boarding and Windsurfing. Over the course of the weekend we will be running Kitesurfing Taster sessions as well as having all the new 2014 equipment on show from North Kiteboarding and encouraging young watersports enthusiasts to start Kitesurfing. Weather permitting British Champion, Lee Harvey and North Team mate Morgan Tinsley will be doing a demo show on the lake, showing the next generation of kitesurfers what is possible for us to do! South swell and mostly south winds has seen some epic jumping sessions and teaching days at Marazion while Gwithian has been perfect for getting into waveriding with cross shore winds and waist to head high waves. This weekend we had 3 guys on a private wave coaching weekend and they all learnt lots, going from struggling to get out on sat morning to riding down the line by sunday afternoon. Great to see and even better that they all had the North Whip after my recommendations as it really is the best kitesurf production board out there ;) Coming into the winter months we are still running beginner kitesurfing lessons in Cornwall right up until Christmas. As usual another great event from Steph and the Edge crew. Lee came away with 5 2nds & 4 3rds from the 9 races completed with Olly Bridge winning all 9 to take his 2nd win of 2013 on the kiterace circuit. The forecast is looking great for The Pasty Cup, Kitesurf Racing British Championships round 1, on 25th - 26th May at Marazion, Cornwall.
Alongside this amazing kitesurfing event, we also now have space available for a learn to kitesurf course over the weekend with our instructor Blake.
